Diamond Roof Restorations recently completed a significant project involving the application of a 20-Year NDL Metal Roof Acrylic System for a client’s 29,000 sqft metal roof. The project began with a comprehensive cleaning process, where we meticulously power washed the entire roof to ensure a clean surface for the subsequent steps. We then inspected and maintained all roof fasteners, replacing any faulty ones to enhance the roof’s structural integrity. To prevent future rust and corrosion, a rust-inhibitive primer was applied to all oxidized areas. Following this, we carefully sealed all seams, penetrations, and potential water ingress points to ensure superior waterproofing. The final phase involved applying a high solids acrylic roof coating, which not only improved the roof’s durability and energy efficiency but also provided a reflective white surface to reduce cooling costs.
